Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison Solid Tumor, New Products to cover the Pacific Northwest territory (AK, UT, NV, WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, N.CA).

Our Oncology team focuses on eliminating cancer by discovering new pathways and modalities to find treatments and cures. We develop treatments, find cures, and pioneer the path from lab to life while championing patients every step of the way.

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a scientific and clinical expert on Johnson & Johnsons innovative products. Responsibilities include providing objective scientific information and education to healthcare professionals and internal partners, staying current with scientific and treatment landscape trends, and supporting research initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a strategic territory plan and building relationships with opinion leaders/KOLs.
  • Engaging in scientific discussions, understanding treatment landscapes, and addressing educational needs.
  • Delivering scientific data effectively, executing Medical Affairs strategies, and responding to research inquiries.
  • Gathering insights, supporting research studies, and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Maintaining scientific acumen through ongoing education and scientific discussions.
  • Fostering a culture of inclusion and understanding regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Developing performance and leadership skills with management support.
  • Performing administrative tasks accurately and timely.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent).
  • Postgraduate experience, clinical experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of MSL or relevant healthcare/pharmaceutical experience.
  • Deep scientific or therapeutic knowledge and research experience.
  • Ability to support a territory with up to 70% travel; valid US Drivers License required.

Preferred:

  • Residency or fellowship training.
  • Board certification (clinical degrees).
  • Experience in Solid Tumor therapeutic area.

Pay Range:

$137,000 - $235,750
