**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Community Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks and repairs in order to ensure the optimal functioning of our buildings, equipment, and systems. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential problems or issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
- Maintain landscaping, parking lots, and general exterior upkeep of the property, including snow removal.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors for larger repair projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including snow removal logs, service requests, repairs completed, and materials used.
- Assist in managing inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Adhere to relevant health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with new technologies and best practices.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required, as you will be required to participate in on-call coverage with sister sites.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in commercial maintenance or facility management.
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and techniques.
