Job Title: Compounding Pharmacist / Lab Manager
Location: Valdosta, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Salary: Starting at $130,000 annually

We are a growing, independent pharmacy recognized as one of the largest compounding pharmacies in the Macon, GA area. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, personalized pharmaceutical care with a patient-first approach. We operate a 503A non-sterile compounding lab, equipped with PioneerRX for EMR and PK Software for formula management and billing. We are committed to excellence in pharmaceutical care and have plans for future sterile compounding expansion.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compounding Pharmacist / Lab Manager to oversee the daily operations of our compounding lab. This role is perfect for a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in non-sterile compounding who is passionate about quality, innovation, and leadership.
You’ll be responsible for regulatory compliance, workflow optimization, staff training, and collaboration with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care. Relocation support is available for candidates eager to move to the Valdosta area and join a growing, mission-driven team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead non-sterile compounding operations in compliance with USP 795, USP 800, and all regulatory guidelines
• Maintain strict quality assurance and inventory protocols
• Train and mentor pharmacy technicians and lab staff
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to recommend tailored compounded therapies
• Optimize lab workflows and enhance patient care processes
• Manage records and billing using PioneerRX and PK Software
• Support the future expansion into sterile compounding operations
Required Qualifications:
• Active Pharmacist License in the state of Georgia
• Proven experience in 503A non-sterile compounding (capsules, troches, creams, etc.)
• Working knowledge of USP 795 and USP 800 standards
• Clinical understanding of compounded therapies for:
• Hormone Replacement Therapy
• Pain Management
• Wound Care
• Respiratory Solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience or training in sterile compounding (USP 797)
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a compounding pharmacy setting
